Scholarship Overview
The IAG IMPACT Scholarship is a distinguished award of $1,000 granted to three outstanding seniors at Whitney High School. More than just a monetary reward, this scholarship transforms recipients into IAG IMPACT Scholars, uniting them with a community dedicated to making a lasting difference in local and global communities.

Catherine Aguilar, CEO & Founder of Impact Alliances Group and a Whitney High School alumna, established a scholarship program that reflects her commitment to youth and education.
Catherineโs life mission revolves around making a difference that matters. Focused on YOUTH and EDUCATION, Catherine established the IAG IMPACT Scholarship to empower and inspire the next generation of change-makers. Learn more about her journey and why she established the scholarship program.

A Lifelong Commitment
IAG IMPACT Scholars don’t just receive financial support; they become integral members of a lifetime community committed to making an IMPACT. This commitment involves sharing their journey, engaging in community updates, and accessing IAG’s vast network for mentorship and guidance. Scholars also have the unique opportunity to serve as mentors to fellow scholars, fostering a culture of inspiration, achievement, and support.
How to apply
Qualification Criteria
To qualify for the IAG IMPACT Scholarship, students must meet specific criteria:
- Enrollment at Whitney High School: Applicants must be current seniors at Whitney High School.
- Commitment to Higher Education: Candidates should express a clear intention to pursue higher education at a four-year college or university.
- College Acceptance Documentation: Applicants must submit proof of college acceptance before high school graduation.
- Community Service Record: Eligible students should demonstrate active involvement in community service, showcasing a dedication to making a positive IMPACT.
Scholarship Committee Evaluation
Applications will undergo a comprehensive review based on the following criteria:
- Commitment and Motivation: Assessing the student’s drive to serve as a lifetime IAG IMPACT Mentor (50%)
- Community Service Record: Evaluating the student’s active involvement (20%)
- Post-College Aspirations: Exploring the student’s goals beyond college (20%)
- Academic Achievement: Considering the student’s academic performance (10%)
Application Process and Deadline
The deadline to complete all requirements is 5 PM on March 28, 2024. To submit your application, follow these steps:
- Follow Instagram Accounts: Follow @caags and @ImpactAlliancesGroup on Instagram.
- Direct Message (DM) Video Submission: Send a 90-second video to @caags via Instagram DM, introducing yourself and explaining why you are the best fit for an IAG IMPACT Scholar.
- Scholarship Essay: Write an essay addressing specific questions on making an IMPACT and your aspirations.
- Email Submission: Email your application, including screenshots and attachments, to Erwin Lasaten (elasaten@impactalliancesgrp.com) and CC Catherine Aguilar (caguilar@impactalliancesgrp.com). Title the subject line: “IAG IMPACT Scholarship Essay – [FIRST NAME, LAST NAME].”
